Jekthamna

This morning I did some exploring around Ersfjord. Then we started hiking towards Breidtind but the weather was not so good and visibility also not so good so we turned around. Then we moved our camp to another beach where we found some bouldering and after exploring it was time for dinner inside since it started raining again.

Heading north

Yesterday morning I took the bus to Bardufoss. And this morning we packed and went to Senja. Weather forecast is not very good but we'll just have to do the best we can with those days we have. We hiked up the Hat with some rain in the beginning and then increasing wind. We set camp at Ersfjord beach.

Narvtind

Today we did a midnight hike, we started around 8 pm and we came down just before midnight. It was REALLY cold today. We had to wear all our clothes when we sat down to eat on summit. We didn't stay very long because of the cold.

Storsandnes

Today we had outdoor climbing at this cozy place instead of inside at Vest-Lofoten Klatreklubb.
Lots of people, all different ages and we had a really good social time this evening.

Sunday and wonderful weather so we went to climb the goat. Actually there was no one in sight except hikers and a drone until we were going to descend. That's not very often you can be all alone on this popular route. We were lucky today.

Hammarskaftet

After hiking back from the fjord we went to this small peak and then to cafe in Reine before heading home.

This difficult, famous peak rises...

...above the end of Vorfjorden, its precipices sheer and fearsome. The first ascent of Store Klokktinden in 1910 was yet another sensational effort by Bryn and Schelderup. The main peak has several smaller subsidiary summits... (Ed Webster)

This peak took 12 hours from tent and back including breaks. Weather was amazing and I was so happy since I've been thinking about this one for a while and finally I was here. Spectacular to see the fjord above the clouds and from a different view than usual.
