Time to get back home. Today we just relax and enjoy the summer day because we are tired and  tomorrow my lovely friends are going back south again.

Today it was hot like a summer day. First we went to a peak we don't know the name of (492 m) and then over to Horseid beach. Later we went back and up to Markan and after this to Branntuva. Today's hike I think was 11 hours in total.

Summer in northern Norway

 



After work I went home and packed the rest of my stuff. It is so hot today! Had some strawberries in the sun outside and then we left to meet Kjell Arne in Ramberg. We went to Skjelfjord and walked from there to Fageråvatnet where we set camp.

My little garden

 
Today I was fixing in my backyard. Adding some new soil and planting some potatoes and onion. My rhubarb thrives and my chive. Also my lovage will grow strong. And look at this amazing coriander! I will move it outside in a few days.

Yesterday we went out and drank a lot of beer so today we are a bit lazy. We took a walk by Mesna river culture path which was really nice,  it was raining a bit but not too much. We had lunch at Lykkelige Dager (Happy Days) where Ylva (the other one) works. Lillehammer has 27 000 inhabitants and is situated in a lush green valley next to Mjøsa, which is the biggest lake in Norway.

We went to Flaggfjell and climbed a nice 3 pitch route.
