Today we had breakfast all together with those who stayed over. Me and Svenn Arne arrived first to make a lot of coffee and preparing. Then came Siri and the others one by one. Some really late. Then we were only 5 hardcore people left that was actually going hiking. But we had a fantastic day. Weather and conditions was perfect.

Turledersamling

Per invited me over for a beer before the gathering, since they were staying in the rorbu next to mine. Today we are having tour leader gathering for Lofoten Turlag. We are planning the program for next year and socializing with dinner and quiz. I went home at midnight (good I live next door to Himmel og Havn) but some were staying up until 03.30 and I don't know how they do it...

A week to regain my strength

Monday me and Janett went to Kabelvåg so I could hand over the memory book I made. We stayed there quite a while then we lit a candle at his grave while it was raining. As we went home winds were 21 m / s. Just a little more would close the bridge but we got home alright. Later this week winds came on stronger. Tuesday we climbed and had two friends afraid of heights coming to try a little climbing. Then I went to pilates and strength workout with Merete x 2. We started building a new route at the climbing gym. And I did my second practical test for the Advanced first aid course. This time I passed! So now I am an officially approved member of the Red Cross Vestvågøy rescue team. We also did a short hike to Vetten thursday.

Waiting for Merete.
Today we were really tired and had a little hangover. So all we managed to do was to get some wood and go to the windshield. Make a fire and have some leftover sushis with tea. Then I went home with Merete.

We were invited to Merete (she has a house in Reine) so we left from Ballstad today. We had a cup of tea while waiting for Tommy and Cody. Weather was a bit gloomy today with some rain but we just made a small hike to check out the steps to Reinebringen that were made by sherpas this autumn. They made 250 steps and then I think there was not enough money...but they estimated that it would be necessary with 750 steps so I guess they will continue. For those of you not familiar I can tell that Reinebringen is the most popular hike in Reine (maybe all of Lofoten) probably because it's close to the road and has a wonderful view over Reine and the fjords. Since we have so many tourists (too many?) the trail has become really worn. Anyway we are here to join a charity run from Å to Reine which is approximately 10 km. All the money goes to the children's cancer foundation. You can also walk or go by bike. I didn't know bike was an option, then it would certainly be my first choice but maybe next year. We had sushi for lunch then Tommy drove us to Å and we registered for the race. I won 6 weeks yoga! Then we went back to the house, had a shower and made dinner. Merete (no 2) and Gunnar came over to have dinner with us and then we went to the after race party in Sørvågen at Anne Maren. There was a liveband playing. We went home with the taxi at 02 am.
