Back down again. 

After breakfast which was way too late by my standards...we went for a small hike up Holandsmælen. Today we are pretty worn out and after this we went home, unpacked, having a shower, drying up tent and stuff, making dinner and just relaxing. This week went really fast and furious...tomorrow it's time for Annika to go home.

I got up first and made a fire then we had breakfast when the others finally got up. We went back to Sørvågen and returned the key. Then we set off to Unstad, found a good tentspot and made a fire. This actually took some time since most of the woods were all damp. After it got dark Gyda and Frost came by to say hello.

We found Jupiter!

We got up way too early because Martin had so little time before he had to head back. We aimed for Hermannsdalstinden but since Annika is afraid of heights we came to a point where we had to turn. The weather was spectacular and it's lovely to be here in this beautiful place. We went back to the cabin and decided to stay one more night.

Sørvågen

I went home and we packed the final things for the weekend. Andreas picked us up and we drove to Sørvågen where we teamed up with Martin. Picked up the key at Matkroken (grocerystore) and set off for Munkebu. We had some light in the beginning but in a while it was pitchdark. There was a lot of snow. Martin and Andreas had snowshoes but me and Annika just had ordinary mountain boots. At one passage almost everyone stepped through the ice and into the river so we were all a bit damp. It took us 4 hours to get there so it was almost midnight when we arrived. We intended to cook a fantastic meal but discoered that there was no gas (!) but we managed to make something on the fireplace, it just took a while. There was also a crushed window but covered with a wood board. In the cabin book there was a story about a polish couple who came here and the locker was frozen. We could read "...Olga started crying and thought she would face the white death." No one had cleaned up the glass so Andreas cut himself in the foot and there was blood over the floor. Luckily it was not serious. I think it was almost 3 am before we went to sleep.

Wednesday

Today after work we went to Offersøykammen with Gyda and Frost. It was a very wet and windy hike...

Tuesday

Monday Annika had been hiking around the neighbourhood all day so I just went home after work, we went to Joker and then made dinner. Tuesday after work we went to Ballstadheia with H. We also met Raymond and one of my neighbours whom I've never seen before. He was there to practise with his kite but it didn't seem to be enough wind...

 Due to lack of sleep we took off late today at noon. We went to Kvalvika.

Another stop.

I said farewell to Sweden and got on the train to Copenhagen at midnight. I met Annika in Malmö and we were so excited that we almost forgot to get off the train in Kastrup. No sleep all night and finally our plane left at 8.15 am. Change only in Oslo this time then we landed in Bodø at noon and walked straight to the harbour. We were hungry and went for a pizza. Rest of the time we spent at Sentrumsterminalen. The boat left at 17.15 and most of the trip was nice until just before Skrova there was a lot of wind and I got a little seasick. Finally reached Svolvær at 9 pm and we got a ride with Andreas back home to Ballstadøya!
