Today it was snowing heavily as we left but as always on the islands, the weather keeps changing all the time.

Finally I got to hike Håtinden. I was missing this on my list for Vestvågøy but today was perfect for it.

Julebord with Red Cross

 

 

Julebord with my rescue team (Hjelpekorpset) and they made something vegetarian for me even though I said I would bring my own. It was nice even though I am not a fan of julebord. But sometimes I need to be more social...

BANFF Leknes

 

 

 

 

Today we were screening BANFF Mountain Film Festival in Leknes. But before this I went to Stamsund with Ole. This turned out to be a long day, really successful. But this night I was totally drained from energy.

Heading down from Matmora

DNT tour leader gathering this weekend. Friday we went to Kabelvåg where there was an avalanche speech and movie afterwards. We had pizza and beer then we checked in to our cabin outside Svolvær. Saturday we hiked to Matmora. It was a beautiful day today. In the evening we talked about what to bring in our first aid kits and how to use it. Then we planned the hiking program for the next year.
