Middagstinden

This meaning the one at Vestvågøy, starting from Kvalnes. Starting with green moss up a horseshoe shaped ridge through a small birch forest and up to the more airy alpine section heading for Middagstinden (707 m) then we decided not to go back the same way but follow this ridge to the end. We had the best lunch view ever sitting just across Haveren and we could se almost all of Vestvågøya and some more. We saw a paraglider and then we came down and drove to Uttakleiv. This is my first time here and it's a perfect tentspot! Flat and dry grass just by the ocean and surrounded by beautiful mountains. There was already one tent as we arrived. We had evening sun so we decided to cook dinner outside the tent today. Even though the wind was cold and you had to wear everything it was fantastic.
