I smiled all the way...

I took a slow morning, could not get enough of the view from my new beautiful island. So at 8 am I went to the health center and met Marianne and some other people. I got a number to call for an apartment they found me which I could rent. First I went to the guest harbour because I thought it might be too early to call before 9 am. Then I called Helge and Svanhild. He asked me where I was because it might be hard to find (it wasn't) so he came to pick me up and I locked my bike. They offered me coffe and sandwiches (with smoked salmon and norwegian brown cheese) the place was nice and it was a good price including water, electricity and even internet! I thought I would have to go to the library (which I think close at 3 pm by the way). I'm so happy to have a place to stay and with a small veranda with a fantastic view. So I unpacked my things, went to the shop and bought some food, had a shower and enjoyed my first smoothie barefoot on the veranda in the warming sun. So nice!

Then I called Antje and we decided to meet. She asked me if I lost my lock, so incredible - she had brought it with her. So I packed my bike again, the weather is wonderful and I'm ready to go.
They are so kind and nice (di er så söte!), Helge and Svanhild, almost like I've got an extra norwegian parents worrying about me. When I headed out again with my bike, they said; if anything happens just give us a call and we'll come and pick you up. So I went from my island over to mighty Kågen, smiling all the way (except for the tunnels) think I am in heaven, it's so beautiful you cannot imagine! Today I went through my first underwater tunnels with a bike (a bit scary if you ask me) but there is no way to avoid them. It took me 3 hours to get to Antje. Then it was time for a tough uphill (today's challenge as were the tunnels). When we where almost on top it was way cooler so one could see the air we were breathing out. I have no idea about the height since I turned my gps off to save the battery. Then we swished down really fast on the other side and I got really cold. We pitched our tents in Sokkelvik and made som hot dinner. The evening was really cold because of the wind. I had to wear my downjacket.

Let's go left!
I have also seen the oystercatcher several times and it's message as follows:
You have your freedom. Your gift is to feel independent.
