Arriving Tromsø

After Oslo there was a change in Lillehammer, Dombås and also Trondheim for the nighttrain. Due to the flooding in southern Norway there were two extra changes. But it all went well and the trip up north is really beautiful. In Trondheim I met Vincenzo from Italy, he was out hiking and hurt his knee so he was limping quite bad with his big backpack, still he was determined to go to Lofoten before going back to Italy. So we had company on the nighttrain until Fauske where I got off and he continued to Bodø. From Fauske I took the bus to Narvik. It was a beautiful morning. I had an omelette in Narvik while waiting for the bus to Tromsø. Here I met a korean girl who said she was going woofing (I thought what the hell is that!? Now I learned that it's World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms, which means you work 4-6 hours for free meal and accomodation in a farm). I got on the bus to Tromsø and it's getting more and more beautiful along the way. There is a ferry between Bognes and Skarberget. At the end I was so tired that I could hardly keep my eyes open despite the spectacular scenery, but I found some candy I brought from Sweden and the sugar kept me going. I got off just before the bridge in Tromsø in the evening and went to the camping. I pitched my tent and paid the shameless amount of 190 NOK for one night. It wasn't even a nice campground. Then I met Antje from Germany. We were thrown out from the kitchen at 11 pm (!?) they were locking up and there wasn't even anything you could steal in there, not even one pot! Went to sleep 00.30 because it's midnight sun and I didn't realize it was so late.

Both day one and two in Norway I saw a moose and it's message as follows;
