We missed the first ferry, or actually it was full of salmon trailers so we had to take the next one from Arnøya. Martin drove me the first part so I wouldn't have to go in the horrible underwater tunnel from Kågen. It is really scary. Then I took the ferry from Olderfjord to Lyngseidet. I am here to visit the parents of Håkon (my dear friend who died in a tragic accident in 2015 while we were in Kjerkfjorden). They knew I was coming and offered me dinner, which was good since I was starving by the time I arrived. It was good to see them again, and also to see where he grew up and some old pictures when he was a kid. They are amazing, warmhearted and lovely people. My plan was to take the last ferry from Breivikeidet but they insisted I should stay the night and I realized I probably wouldn't make it anyway. So why rush when I am here? After dinner they wanted to show me around and talked about places that where special to them.
