Since Annika forgot her stuff we had to get up early. She walked the dog. We had breakfast and then went to Hertered to pick up her last stuff. Then we packed the bike and went to the train station. We met this guy with two dogs who was raw vegan. And we met Alex - a danish guy extremely obsessed with lightweight equipment. He was riding a fat bike and had been on the road 3 weeks in south of Norway. It was interesting talking to him and learn about new things but I think he was to the extreme. He had the smallest kitchen I have ever seen and he didn't even have underwear to change or maybe he didn't have any at all? I'm not sure now. But I got the impression that he worked in a boring office with shirt and tie so I guess he just needed some adrenaline and just bought a new toy. It sounded like it was his first trip. But it's good anyway even if we have two very different views of cycle touring. We arrived to Karlshamn and went to the port for the ferry.

 Today we had breakfast outside then a walk in the forest with Twiggy before leaving for the city. I met Rebecca in Strawtown and then Agnieszka (haven't seen her for ages so that was fun) In the evening we had birthday dinner and drinks before leaving Rebecca at the bus. Then I went to Divan where Annika was, sleeping here tonight since we are leaving tomorrow not too early but still...and that was lucky since Annika has chaos in her mind and forgot to pack her tent, sleepingbag and downmat...

I arrived in Oslo just before 7 and took the metro to AM and Terje. Terje was up and ready for work and made me espresso! Just what I needed and we talked a little before he had to leave. Then I took a shower which was divine. Espresso, a shower and lunch with Anne Marit gave me the energy back. Packed my bike and went back to the train station. Rebecca met me in Strawtown and I left my bike and bags with Divan. Me and Rebecca went for sushi and beer then I went with Annika to Simlångsdalen to stay the night.

Weather was the same as yesterday. We didn't get up quite as early today. We packed the camp and went for Austabotntind and this time we got up even though it was no visibility at the summit. But still. On our way down it started raining. Sigvald dropped me off at the station in Voss and I waited for the night train to Oslo. So boring....

Now we can discern the summit. 

Today we started early hiking up towards Store Skagastølstind. Clouds were really low but we went up anyway. I didn't look very good but we continued further anyway after passing "Hytta på bandet" which is under renovation right now. Route finding was not that easy since visibility was so bad then we decided to turn (at 2200 m) it was 200 m below summit since the rock was wet and we wouldn't see anything. I guess we have to come back...Anyway back in the valley it was sunshine and we made dinner outside with a fire as well, until the rain came. It's been a wonderful day and I was so tired that I fell asleep almost immediately.

Flying visit to Oslo

 

 

I arrived in Oslo just before 7 am. Anne Marit were meeting me at the station and we went home to her and had a wonderful breakfast. I'm leaving my bike and bags here. Terje was in Dubai so I wont meet him this time. Later she dropped me off for my next train to Voss. When the train arrived in Voss it was almost 7 pm and Sigvald picked me up here and we drove "Tindevegen" to Turtagrø where we pitched the tent or actually it was a "lavvo" so it was quite a lot of space. It's my first time sleeping in lavvo and Sigvald made us a really good dinner.
