Facing the sorrow and new adventures in the west

It has been a heavy week emotionally. I stayed home for three days. I was in a weird state, it's hard to explain like I existed but was not really present. As if I was in a bubble and did not actually realize what happened. Many people sent messages that they were thinking about me...and us. Some also called. I am so grateful for all those of you caring about me, even people I don't know very well but it's a small community and it strikes hard. When I got back to work I got many hugs. It touches my heart and it helps to process. I decided to stick to my previous made plans this weekend, it's important to me and to stay with friends.

Friday after work I went to Martin and Merete in Ramberg. They are renovating the house so I learned a lot about building floor in the kitchen. Then we had homebaked pizza and I stayed the night. Martin and I had an assignment saturday for a canadian tv show called Vol 920. A bit similar to "71 grader nord" but with a higher budget since they go to different countries. Maja also met up and helped us. Mission was that two guys where going to lower down from a cliff and bring up a bag with information for the next challenge. The contestants where two couples. The girls cheered on. One of the guys where afraid of heights and almost didn't do it but he came down alright and then had trouble going up, I think he panicked and the other guy dropped the bag and it was floating away so the backup boat had to come in. Then Maja went down to help him up since the other guy was clearly winning. The camera crew loved the action!
