Helvetestinden

We had breakfast then we headed up. It was a beautiful morning. When we reached the pass I could finally see Kirkefjorden down there. I waved just in case Oddvar was down there looking up. The view is really breathtaking, so many peaks you want to climb...then we continued just a bit before we decided it was time to get tied in. I took the lead and the wind gusts was somewhat hard in the beginning. At 1 pm we were standing on the summit! We took some pictures and 2 squares of chocolate then we headed back. Just below the pass we found a nice rock where we stopped for hot drinks and something to eat. There was still some light when we came down to the tent. Our first mission was to find water because everything seemed frozen, but we found some on the way down to the beach. Since it was quite early and we still had some energy we walked down to the house on the left side on the beach and to look at one of the planets*, the one we found here was Saturnus.
Heading up the pass.
Looking down at Kirkefjord.
Is there a way down here?
It's cold today.
Looking at Segltinden.
Time for rope.
Tied in and ready to lead.
Off we go.
