Life is crazy

The first day of the year weather was really bad and I was too weak to go out. But on the second day I walked to Joker and back. That was enough exercise for me this day. Funny thing is that my neighbour had visit from Sweden and actually from my old surroundings in Halmstad. This was quite fun and they stayed in the apartment opposite to mine. Without thinking I offered my self as a guide to Kvalvika and so be it.

Reine.
Saturday at 7.30 am Anna Maria knocked on my door and invited me to have breakfast with them upstairs, and what a breakfast a bit like hotel breakfast. Then off we went to Kvalvika. Skies were as dark as above Mordor but after a while they cleared up. When we got down to the cabin to our surprise there was a german guy (Thomas) who was staying there. He told us Lofoten was his "break up destination". Last time he came here he just had a break up and after his stay here he felt good again. And now it happened to him again. He brought lots of book and was wearing jeans and slippers (!) he heard about this place and came here after darkness and had some trouble finding the cabin.

We had some coffee together and then we were off to Reine. Ludvig has been here once before so he was going to show us Reinebringen. The path was easy in the beginning but then we lost it in all the snow. But we still continued even though it got dark when we finally reached summit and the moon cast a magical glow. We looked down at the lights in Reine before we went down. We tried another way down which was not the best one and Ludvig fell down really fast and was rolling around. He was ok but he lost his hat and we all came down in one piece. Anna Maria had been a bit worried and since it's my lucky day I was also invited for dinner. But first a hot shower and some mulled spiced wine so we were all warm inside again. So I got a bit more adventure than I intended to and I was quite exhausted. I could feel it all day that I was not in my regular shape. But it was a really fun day!

Heading up.
Shoelaces...
Summit book was frozen solid.
Lights at Reine.
