Today after work we went to buy a sack of firewood then we met up with Inger at the parking by the Nappstunnel. We made fire and grilled soysausages. Inger also picked some limpets from the sea. It was my first time trying these. On the way home we went to see Fiskerkona (Fisherman's wife) who stands at Lilleeidet by the old ferry harbour which is no longer used. It used to be ferries between Vestvågøy and Flakstad. She is looking at the sea, to see if her husband is coming home. She looked so thin, I think she needed a hug!

Today it was going to rain a lot but before that we went to Barth in Bøstad to make a complaint of my broken zipper on my favourite green jacket. After that we went for a hike in Unstad. Then came the rain...

Today after work we went to Hauklandsstranda and took the old road to Uttakleiv and back.

This morning I woke up with a slight headache...maybe I had too much beer yesterday? And we got up early, had breakfast, got everything packed and left for Saupstad. There was a really beautiful valley where I had never been. I thought I must come here again and pitch my tent. Anyway we went up Skrådalstinden. There was no visibility whatsoever on the summit but nevertheless it was a nice peak. We went down halfway, had some lunch and then met up with the other Terje down at the road. They were supposed to catch a flight which later was canceled so I guess they all had to stay overnight in Bodø. I went home and threw in a machine with bedlinen because tomorrow Nina is coming. Then I felt pretty tired and weary. Also my knee was hurting a bit but I probably just overstrained it.

Basecamp Hattvika!

 When I woke up it was raining so we had breakfast in the tent. Then we packed an went back to the car. We connected with Terje who had been in Hattvika trying to recover from a bad case of cold. But today he is coming with us to Skottinden! The weather improved during the day.

This week...

went really fast. Climbing indoors. Buying a lot of food for the weekend. Bouldering at Uttakleiv despite the cold. I was so looking forward to see Sigvald, Terje and Terje before the upcoming expedition. They came thursday night and friday we went to Kvalvika! Kjerringa looked to hard and grim so we went up Moltinden and back down again to make a campfire. We had some snow, hail and rain during the evening...

Back at Å and later on we went to look around closer at Tind and Sørvågen. It was supposed to be a bolted crag here but we didn't know where and couldn't find it this time. But we found interesting falling apart houses and some other things...
