Today was a full day from morning until night. Trying different stretchers how to attach and carry. Different search methods, psychosocial like how to handle finding a dead person etc. Am I ready for that? We worked with our different teams. In the evening we had a search mission, all teams got different routes. I got to be team leader first and then map responsible. We had to call in every time we found something and give map reference. Later at night two of our team members had some problems so we had to carry their backpack and we also had to go back down the trail to leave one person who couldn't continue. We met up halfway back and they picked her up with a four wheeler. Then we got a new route to follow and continued. We arrived back in camp at 3 am. Then I was really tired...

Red Cross
This morning there was a young boy missing. The phone rang at 4 maybe but I had the sound turned off. As I came to work with all my packing they were gathered there at the cafe. Luckily they had found the boy or actually when he realised they were looking for him, he went home. He just didn't tell his parents where he was going...
I left work two hours earlier since Tina was picking me up at work. Then we drove to Harstad which took us at least three hours. The course starts at 6 pm. We were divided into three groups. Me and my team are sleeping in this tent.

Trolldalsvatnet
Finally it was time for a third attempt to go here. Per managed to borrow a rowing boat and so we met friday after work in Leknes. Drove to Sørvågen and picked up the key. Then we hiked up to Trolldalsvatnet. We were rowing to the end of the lake where we arrived just as it got dark but we managed to find a pretty good tent spot anyhow. We made dinner and it started raining. We knew it was going to rain this night but tomorrow will be fine. Saturday morning skies were pretty low but one could see it was going to clear up. It was kind of wet as we started but it went well and we arrived at summit three hours later. What a feeling! Then as we went down the sun came shining on us. We came down to camp and had something to eat, before we went up again to the lake above and then to Mengeldalstind. And as if that wasn't enough we also went over to Småtindan. At least as far as it was possible to go. Then we returned down again. Sebastian had some pain in his foot when going down but it went well. We had dinner and actually a small campfire before we finally went to bed. Sunday morning was beautiful and we all had a slow breakfast outside before rowing back. Sebastian's foot seemed to be much better. So we could stop worry about carrying his stuff too. This was an awesome weekend!

Today I went hiking with Gyda and Vera. We picked up the key at Maren Anna and headed towards Munkebu. We met Kjetil and were invited for coffee at his cabin "Uroa". Then we continued towards Munkebu where we left our stuff in the cabin. Then we hiked up Munken and I continued to Veinestind while the others waited.
