Work weekend...

 

Not much fun this weekend, working extra hours friday, saturday and sunday.

Mulstøa

 

 

 

Weather was gloomy today so we just did a small hike in the lowlands to Mulstøa where we found a kind of "lavvo" where we had our lunch and enjoyed the view as the sky cleared up. Someone had supplies and booze in there...

Today we got up really late but then we went to this peak and when we came down there was still some light. You can really see the difference now that days are getting longer. When I finish work it's no longer pitch dark. That's lovely.

Today we had a closer look at Jelvollstind but the terrain was really the worst, thin snow, loose rocks and slippery grass under it. So we only went halfway up and then decided to turn again.

 We where going to make an attempt today, I started leading but didn't get very far before it was too scary and then Martin had a time to catch so he needed to be back so limited time and light made us turn this time. But we will be back another day.

Another cold day and we went to Myrland, up two peaks and looking closer to another one for later.

Reinehaugen & kaffeslabberas

 

It's monday and I actually have one more day off! We are a bit worn after the weekend so we just made a small hike to Reinehaugen. It was freezing and really strong wind so it felt extremely cold. Then we went to Svolvær for a trip to Skandinavisk Høyfjellsutstyr and we were invited for coffee at Tommy's place which was really nice.

We are leaving this beautiful place now and head back to Lofoten.
