Today we have a climbing event with Vest Lofoten Klatreklubb. Me and Kjartan picked up some equipment at the club and then off to Kalle. We climbed only 2 routes since it got pretty late after pitching the tents and carrying all the stuff. Then we had dinner at the campfire.

An angel in the mountain

Today we had a plan to climb Stjerntind so we all teamed up in Ramberg at Martins place. Gunnar was sceptic so he went home again. We went out there but clouds were low and the rock was really wet so we all agreed that he was right, this was not a good day for Stjerntind. So we changed focus and someone said; why don't we go look for "The Angel Hole". We didn't know exactly where it was but the blacksmith knows so we went there to get some more information. Then we head off to Fjøsdalen (Barns valley) and a whole new fabulous world revealed itself to me! I didn't know about this place and it was so lovely I must come back here with my tent. Anyway we found the hole but it was not that easy to get there. We came really close but not the entire way since there was a snow chute which was pretty hard and got steeper. Since we had everything except crampons today we had to turn and go back down again. We had climbing equipment and two ice axes...

Microadventure

Happy shining wednesday! I went home fast as a shark in the wonderful summer breeze. Had all my stuff packed and shared some slices of watermelon with Anne Marie while waiting to be picked up. We passed Brandsholmen (I really wanna go there) on our way to Ure where we picked up Frost and changed to a smaller boat. First we went to Æsøya but to our surprise it was completely crowded with two boats and lots of people on the beach. So we went to Bjørnerøya instead. A bit more complicated to get a shore but it's possible. We were all alone on this island so we pitched our tents, made some dinner and had a look around.

Last day of climbing with Terje and Anne Marit. Today at my "home crag" Gjermesøya. Then they had to leave and head back south. Hope to see you soon again!

Terje and Anne Marit came back from their trip to Røst arriving friday night so the following day we went to Kalle for some climbing.
